Campbell Wallace was a Tennessee entrepreneur. Prior to the Civil War, he was president of the East Tennessee and Georgia Railroad. During the war, he rejected a brigadiership to stay with the railroad and help move troops. After the war, Wallace relocated to Georgia where he was the first president of the Georgia Railroad Commission. From the description of Papers, 1840-1946. (University of Tennessee).
